To refurbish the existing car park and redesign the current layout to provide a safer environment and more aesthetically pleasing entrance to the park.  The current car park is just hardcore and is prone to flooding and pot holes which can cause damage to visiting vehicles.

The entrance area needs marking out better as it is at the bottom of a hill and requires speed humps installed to stop vehicles speeding up and down the road outside local residents houses along Aspen Grove.  Soakaways and water gullys need installing at the bottom of the hill to prevent flooding of the car park and to dissipate water from the hill.

Drainage under the existing car park is poor and needs replacing along the main entrance way to prevent flooding and overflows by the Pavilion and along the main pedestrian walkway through towards the play equipment.  The current car park has raised grassed humps which provide cover and restrict views of the area.  These grassed humps need to be lowered and landscaped to provide better security throughout the park area.

The overall area of the exiting car park would be reduced along the sides where residents houses back onto the car park.  This reduction of the hardcore parking area will be replaced with a grassed area to compliment the rest of the park.  Soakaways and grills and gullys will be installed to provide relief from flooding.

The new car park will be marked out with disabled and non disabled bays.
