I agree that for the small cost this will bring huge benefits for this group.

This seems very little money to pay out for something that would be a big help to this group of people and should be supported.

A portable, wooden, indoor bowling alley, proposed for the use of about 25-30 adults, agreed 26-70, with learning difficulties.

The structure can be adapted for different skill levels and wheelchair users.  After use it can be dismantled and stored.  The aims of the project are to engender a sense of achievement for club members, improve their social skills and provide an opportunity for healthy, physical exercise.

Members presently attend Tamworth Bowling Alley, which is proving costly, but they really enjoy bowling and the sense of achievement it gives them.  If we had our own bowling alley we could invite other groups for friendly matches on club nights.
