To re-furbish a multi-functional room at the rear of the building. The refurbishment will allow for better use of the existing space including the removal of the existing timber wall creating a larger floor area and incorporating a new preparation and storage space and a cost effective heating system. The room is used by a bereavement support group (SOLO), a womens group (3Cs) a toddler group and more recently a new childrens group (JAM). Each group states that the existing room is ill-equipped, locaking storage and poorly planned, wasting much need space. It is the aim of each group to provide a range of activities and community help and support and in each group there is an increase in interest which the groups would like to address by offering more meeting opportunities and a better environment for them to meet in, as the present room needs serious attention.

This room is very much needed by all these groups. The present room is totally inadequate and in serious need of some TLC. The larger space will give room for rising numbers of users needing
somewhere to meet and will be safer for the children who use it.
definitely a proposed multi-functional room with so many groups needing to use the space.
A small amount of money really for a project which supports so many community groups.
